OPEC raises Russia’s 2015 oil output outlook to 11 mln bbl daily
MOSCOW, Jul 13 (PRIME) -- OPEC has changed the forecast for the Russian oil output in 2015, expecting a year-on-year growth by 10,000 barrels daily to 10.68 million barrels daily, instead of a 30,000 barrel decrease, the organization said in a statement Monday.
In January–June, Russia’s oil output rose by 60,000 barrels daily on the year to 10.68 million barrels a day. In June, oil production remained flat at 10.72 million barrels daily.
The launch of the Termokarstovoye gas condensate field in the northern Yakutia republic positively affected the output, the organization said.
In July–September, Russia’s daily oil output will stand at 10.60 million barrels and in October–December at 10.65 million barrels daily.
OPEC expects Russia’s daily oil output to amount to 10.58 million barrels in 2016.
